With much debate in the media, and a current Health Protection Agency (HPA) investigation underway, all centre around the murky issue of this year's popular health treatment - fish pedicures.
With speculation that there people undergoing the treatment could risk catching fungal infections as well as a smaller chance of life-threatening viruses such as Hepatitis C and HIV being passed on from the water or fishes.
This TV package will begin to shed some light on this worrisome issue.
A more in depth examination is soon to follow in an exclusive article for BHBeat.
Special thanks to my interviewees: Jo Timmins - Bournemouth University, Mike O'Neill - Society of Chiropodists, Sophie Dack-Stainer - SilkiSoles.
P.S. Please excuse the poorest pun made by man but a few seconds in.
